Embroidered pillowcases
Mom made these beautifully embroidered pillowcases for her grandchildren. As you can see there are many options for the embroidery designs. She then added the piping to add a nice splash of color.

This is a great way to remember a special occasion or a great vacation. This African Picture Quilt was a great way to remember my Aunty Diana & mom's trip to see my sister in Kenya. What a fantastic use of patterned fabric & color to pull in the feel of the wild animals & the colors of the African land.

This is a great idea for grandparents so they can see their loved ones all the time & know they are close by. The pictures are printed onto a special fabric & then sewn into place being framed by any number of options. Here the pictures have a quilted pillowcase framing them in colors to match a chosen room of the house. This photo fabric can be incorporated into any item you see on this site.

T-Shirt Quilt
This is the one item I have had the most requests for. Will your mom make me a T-shirt quilt? Well the answer is "Yes!". Here is the one mom made for me after graduating from college. This quilt was made to fit a twin size bed. This is a custom made item so it can be made to fit any size bed or could be made as a lap quilt.
So start collecting your T-shirts. This is a great way to save all those memories & not have them fill up your closet. Have one made for yourself or for a family member to always remember those special moments in life; vacations, kids' sporting activities, college days, Greek life, concerts, or any shirt that just brings back good memories.
More pictures coming of these!! Mom's made quite a few of them.

Purses & Bags
These are just 2 examples I have of a purse & bag that mom has made for me. The purse was inspired by a store bought purse I had bought & then mom had seen the silk, brocade fabric at the store & wanted to use it for something. She found some brown velvet & matching ribbon & voila! a new purse.

This bag is probably one of my oldest "mom made" items that I have in my house. I would say it is around 20 years old. It was originally used as a school bag & now it is a "whatever bag". It has been machine washed numerous times & still does not show much wear. The image on the front is a hand painted replica of a famous drawing & hasn't deteriorated over time. Mom makes quality products that are not going to fall apart over time, with normal use.
Bug Quilt
This bug quilt is one of my favorites. I have been using it as my main bed covering for years. It is machine washable which is great to get rid of dog hair.

All bugs are pieced together with different fabrics & then accented with paint or embroidery thread. Mom has actually made two of these bug quilts, both for queen size beds.

Quilts are a custom item so they can be made to fit any size bed or just to be used as a lap quilt while watching TV.
Baby Gift Items - Burp Cloths & Body Bib
These would be great items to give at a baby shower or the birth of a new baby. They can be personalized in whatever manner you choose. For all embroidery, pick from a multitude of thread colors and images to match the baby's existing nursery or the baby's sex.

The Bamboo Room
This room is called the bamboo room because of the bamboo flooring that was installed, but my mother's handiwork has made the room come to life.
She started out making curtain sheers & a valance for each of the two windows in the room.

She then made a bedspread using the same fabric from the valance, along with two accent pillows using the 2 fabrics from the window covering.
All bedspreads / quilts will have a custom label on the back. The backing is made either from a sheet or fabric, depending on the size of the quilt or what the customer prefers. The possibilities are endless.
